To continue the spirit of the evening, we are pleased to share three simple, delicious recipes: a homemade granola you’ll never need to buy again, a fresh and vibrant spring salad, and a better-for-you chocolate treat that proves healthy eating doesn’t mean missing out. Our Flowers & Food event promises to be a warm and welcoming evening, bringing people together to enjoy beautiful seasonal flowers, delicious food, and great company — all while raising funds for an important cause. We are delighted to welcome two fantastic guest speakers: Sheila Gilbert A.O.I.F.A. – an accomplished florist and member of the Association of Irish Floral Artists, who will share her expertise through a floristry demonstration. Lorna O’ Regan – who will speak about nutrition and wellness, offering practical insights on wellbeing and healthy living, as well as some delicious recipes. Guests will enjoy demonstrations, talks, a raffle and refreshments. 100% of ticket sales will go to the Clonakilty Daffodil Day campaign for the Irish Cancer Society, helping its vital work, including:
We are excited to hear that Majella O'Donnell will be attending this year’s Clonakilty Daffodil Day on Friday March 20th, to help shine a spotlight on this important annual fundraiser. Majella is widely known and recognised for her advocacy work and for openly sharing her own experiences following her cancer diagnosis and journey. Her courage and openness have helped raise awareness and provide comfort and support to many people facing cancer.
